1. Its made clear that Gohan is stronger than he was on M8. Movie 10 is based on the time where Gohan is training for the 25th budokai. Considering the audience is led to believe that Gohan is the strongest in the Buu arc till Goku fights Vegeta nothing in M10 says that Gohan isn't weaker than his kid self only that M10 is stronger than M8 which he is. SSJ2 m10 Gohan> the others on the planet which is just like it was in early buu arc. SSJ2 Goku had just appeared in the manga when M10 was released. Up till that point it was a Gohan only thing and wasn't even really ssj2. SSJ2 it's self was simply hinted at against Yakon. As for the images those are animation differences. I can find pictures that back up he was just a ssj1. There is a picture that just got released of Goku with his ssj blue hair for example. There is also the games that mention everyone were ssj1. Finally there's the argument Goku might not have even been in M10. |

But then where do you put Movie 10 Gohan? All things considered, as Toei Animation was utilizing Pre-Budokai Gohan where there was that subtle difference between his SSJ and SSj2 form, the idea of Gohan getting weaker may not even have been established in the manga by the time of production. It's the same way that Gohan in Movie 8, probably wasn't established as being the #1 fighter during it's production. But let's it was. Where does that put the likes of Movie 9 Gohan who is clearly supposed to be his Cell Games counterpart. I don't think there's a problem with having Movie 8 Gohan weaker...because he quite frankly is. But now that Movie 9 has happened, to make Movie 10 Gohan weaker, we'd have to establish that Gohan got stronger than Movie 8 but then got weaker than Movie 9. With the problem there being that movie 10 kind of establishes the point that Gohan did not get weaker. At the very least you'd think he might make the point of getting weaker since Movie 9/Cell Games. --- --- Goku was most certainly there. You might make an argument that he wasn't an SSj2 though I feel the visual presence along with other images say otherwise. But Goten notices him, Broly notices him. His foot makes an audible sound when he lands and to even the Daizenshuu states he was there.

Goku was dead in M10, so the events of the Cell Games evidently happened in the Broly timeline, meaning that Gohan got to be as powerful as he was at them. It wouldn't make sense for him to claim that he got stronger than he was back then if he just meant his CG power, as he would've lazed around for seven years and probably said something along the lines of ''I should be stronger than I was the first time''. As for LSSJ, it doesn't have to be a big boost at all. SSJ Broly was already much stronger than MSSJ Goku, iirc, so LSSJ wouldn't even have to be two times in order for Broly to be able to do what he did. |
